Welcome to the Kuala Lumpur International Hotel (“KLIH”) online booking platform. The Terms and Conditions stated below apply to all guests and users of the Kuala Lumpur International Hotel website. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. General
Your contract is with Kuala Lumpur International Hotel, operated by Zaques Hotel (M) Sdn Bhd.
Use of this website is conditional upon your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, which Kuala Lumpur International Hotel may amend from time to time at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice. Your continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the latest Terms & Conditions in force.
In these Terms & Conditions:
- “We”, “Us”, “Hotel” refer to Kuala Lumpur International Hotel, including its employees, agents, suppliers, and insurers.
- “You”, “Guest”, “User” refer to any individual making a booking or staying at the hotel.
These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kuala Lumpur International Hotel.
2. Website Content & Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, videos, downloads, data, software, icons, and design elements (“Content”), is the property of Kuala Lumpur International Hotel or its licensors and is protected under Malaysian and international intellectual property laws.
The Content is provided for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, transmit, display, perform, publish, license, or create derivative works from any Content without prior written consent from Kuala Lumpur International Hotel.
Use of any trademarks, logos, service marks, meta tags, framing, deep linking, or hidden text associated with Kuala Lumpur International Hotel without written permission is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
3. Comments, Reviews & Feedback
All comments, reviews, or feedback submitted to Kuala Lumpur International Hotel remain the property of the Hotel.
We reserve the right to monitor, edit, or remove any content that is deemed inappropriate, offensive, defamatory, unlawful, or in breach of these Terms & Conditions.
By submitting comments or feedback, you confirm that:
- You have the right to post such content.
- The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
- The content is not defamatory, misleading, offensive, or unlawful.
- The content does not contain malicious software or harmful code.
- The content is not used for commercial solicitation or unlawful activities.
You remain solely responsible for the content you submit.
4. Reservations, Pricing & Availability
- All room rates and packages are subject to availability and may change without prior notice.
- The Hotel reserves the right to withdraw or amend any offer at any time.
- Images and descriptions displayed are for illustration purposes only and may differ from actual rooms or facilities.
- A booking is only valid upon received of a Booking Confirmation issued by Kuala Lumpur International Hotel & Online Booking Platform.
- Kindly review your Hotel Booking Confirmation meticulously and promptly inform the booking platform of any existing discrepancies.
- Kindly be advised that strict adherence to the maximum room occupancy limit is required. Failure to comply may result in supplementary charges or the refusal of accommodation.
- Guests must be at least 21 years old to make a reservation.
- Reservations are non-transferable and may not be resold or used for commercial purposes.
- A surcharge of RM50.00 Nett shall be applied on public holidays.
The Hotel reserves the right to modify, suspend, or temporarily close any facilities, services, or outlets due to maintenance, repairs, safety concerns, private events, or operational requirements, without prior notice or compensation.
In the event of overbooking or circumstances beyond the Hotel’s control, the Hotel reserves the right to relocate guests to an alternative accommodation of similar standard, with transportation arranged where reasonably possible.
5. Guest Responsibilities
- Guests are responsible for their own conduct and that of their accompanying guests.
- Any loss, damage, or theft caused by the guest or their visitors will be charged accordingly.
- Guests must use hotel facilities responsibly and comply with hotel rules and safety regulations.
- A minimum refundable deposit of RM150 will be collected to cover miscellaneous charges. This deposit can be paid by cash or a valid credit card (Mastercard or Visa).
- A charge of RM20.00 per unit will be imposed for any damage to or loss of the Hotel Room Keycard. This payment must be settled upon check-out or will be deducted from the security deposit.
- The consumption of Durian and Mangosteen are strictly prohibited within the Hotel Premises, and any violation will result in a penalty fine of RM500.00.
- RM10.00 nett Tourism Tax per room per night will be imposed on non-Malaysian tourists staying at the hotel.
6. Limitation of Liability
Kuala Lumpur International Hotel shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, death, accident, or inconvenience caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, theft, negligence of third parties, or force majeure.
The Hotel is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings during your stay.
7. Personal Data Protection
We collect, process, and retain personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), Malaysia.
Personal data may be used for:
- Reservation and service delivery
- Payment processing
- Marketing communications (Advertising, Promotion & Invitation)
- Customer relationship management
- Legal and regulatory compliance
Your data may be shared with trusted third parties such as booking platforms, payment gateways, IT service providers, auditors, and regulatory authorities when required.
Personal data is retained for up to 7 years, unless otherwise required by law.

8. Third-Party Services & Links
The Hotel may feature or collaborate with third-party services. Kuala Lumpur International Hotel is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or services provided by third parties.
All third-party services are subject to their respective terms and conditions.
9. Accuracy of Information
While we strive to ensure all information is accurate and up to date, errors or omissions may occur. Kuala Lumpur International Hotel reserves the right to correct any inaccuracies and update content at any time without notice.
Content on this website does not constitute a contractual offer unless explicitly stated.
10. Termination & Refusal of Stay
The Hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation or terminate a stay without refund or compensation under circumstances including, but not limited to:
- Safety or security concerns
- Illegal or disruptive behaviour
- Fraudulent bookings or payments
- Non-payment of charges
- Breach of hotel policies
11. Payments
- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
- Payment methods include cash, credit/debit cards, paylater payment and online payment gateways.
- Bookings are confirmed only upon successful payment and receipt of a confirmation reference.

12. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Non-Refundable Rates
- Check-in: From 3:00 PM | Check-out: 12:00 PM
- No cancellations, modifications, or refunds.
- Full amount charged upon booking.
- Late cancellation or no-show: Full charge applies.
Free Cancellation Rates
- All cancellations are strictly subject to the applicable terms & conditions of the third-party booking platform.
- Late cancellation or no-show: Full charge applies.
All rates are inclusive of prevailing government tax.
Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.
14. Security Deposit & Pre-Authorisation
The Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise or collect a refundable security deposit at check-in counter to cover incidental charges, damages, missing items, excessive cleaning, or any outstanding balances incurred during the stay.
A minimum security deposit of RM150.00 is required upon check-in via cash & credit card (Master & Visa)
The unused portion of the security deposit will be released within a reasonable timeframe after check-out, subject to the processing timelines of the individual bank or card issuer, which may take up to 14 working days. Deposits paid in cash will be refunded immediately upon check-out. The Hotel assumes no responsibility for delays caused by financial institutions.
15. Smoking, Vaping & Prohibited Items
Kuala Lumpur International Hotel is a non-smoking property, unless otherwise clearly designated.
Smoking, vaping, use of shisha, or similar activities are strictly prohibited in guest rooms, enclosed public areas, and all non-smoking zones within the Hotel.
A cleaning, deodorisation, and restoration charge may be imposed for any violation of this policy.
The possession, use, or distribution of illegal substances, weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of stay without refund, removal from the premises, and notification to the relevant authorities.
16. Parking & Vehicles
Parking is available for in-house guests at a charge of RM8 nett per car per entry. Validation of the parking card at the reception counter is required before leaving the hotel premises.
The Hotel shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or vandalism involving vehicles or personal belongings left within vehicles parked on Hotel premises, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
